Mont St Michel is a young brand with an ancient history. Specializing in “hardwearing” workwear since 1913, the house was taken over in 1998 by Alexandre Milan who transformed it into a fashionable, urban and modern label, but always faithful to the functional spirit of the workwear heritage.
Alexandre Milan enriches this heritage with family textile know-how that is almost as old: that of Aa knitting, a factory founded in 1919 by his great-grandmother. The brand's design studio is still located on the Monthorin site in Brittany, where decades of textile archives are carefully preserved, a true treasure of inspiration revisited with each collection.
